Here’s a pre-mature baby who could obviously fit in a pocket.  The hospital nurse is in some big trouble, that’s too bad.

Israel’s most widely circulated paper Yedioth Ahronoth has amazed the country last Sunday with a huge photograph on its cover, showing a senior Neonatal nurse smiling to the camera with, well, a premature baby inside her uniform pocket. Apparently the photograph was taken as a “humorous gesture” during a hospital teaching presentation at the Bnei Zion Medical Center in Haifa.

Here’s a really weird fly drawing robot that draws based on flies’ movements.

This installation produces drawings based on the subtle movements of houseflies. When flies enter a small chamber sensors detect their movements. A micro-controller articulates a drawing arm in real time based on the fly’s movements. When a fly is no longer detected in the chamber the paper scrolls over and the device waits until a new fly enters the chamber to begin another drawing.

group. Give me an alternative seat.” “Be calm please,” the hostess replied.

The hostess went away & then came back a few minutes later.
“Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in Economy Class.

I spoke to the captain & he informed me that there is also no seat in Business Class.
All the same, we still have one place in First Class.”

Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued. “It is unusual for our company
to permit someone from Economy Class to sit in First Class. However, given the circumstances, the
captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting.”

She turned to the black guy & said, “Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in First Class.”

At that moment, the other passengers, who’d been shocked by what they had just witnessed,
stood up & applauded.

Believe it or not, NASA is looking to recycle astronauts’ urine so they have more water supply.   Good idea or not?

Among the ship’s cargo, which will help prepare the station for an expanded six-person crew, is a water regeneration system that, as one astronaut puts it, “will make yesterday’s coffee into today’s coffee”.

“It’s one of these great circle-of-life things,” explained Don Pettit, a former space station science officer serving as a mission specialist aboard Endeavour.

The new system distils, filters, ionizes and oxidizes wastewater - including urine — into fresh water for drinking.

It all started back in 1994 when several dozen Cheap Suit Santas paid a visit to downtown San Francisco for a night of Kringle Kaos. Things have reached Critical Xmas and Santarchy is now a global phenomenon.

Live, raw octopus has been Korean traditional dish for last 2 centuries.  Of course, even after you cut Octopus into pieces, they are still alive and when you put them in your mouth, the tentacles will suck on your tongue.

Of course, it’s best served with some soju.

Straight from the tank onto the plate - in less than 8 minutes. Raw octopus (낙지회, nakji hwee) can either be eaten whole or sliced up. Obviously, my guests chose the latter - cowards!

The nakji arrives at the table all squirming and wriggling, very worm-like when you think about it. It’s served with a healty dash of sesame oil and topped with roasted sesame seeds. Nothing else - no salt, no pepper, nada.

The fun bit is getting them onto your chopsticks and then into your mouth. These fellas will squirm and wriggle their way out of trouble. And the suction cups on their tentacles can be pretty strong, even as they slide down your throat! Hahaha ….. talk about your food fighting back.

Apparently, Japan has this weird lookin’ treehouse restaurant that serves great food.

I’d obviously would love to go here one day and eat food while enjoying the spectacular treehouse views.

Naha Harbor Diner sits perfectly on top of a massive Gajumaru, Japan, tree’s huge branches about 20 ft above the ground and looking out over the ocean.
The restaurant which is accessible by both a spiral stairway and an inbuilt tree trunk elevator specializes in locally grown and organically harvested foods brought straightaway from the farms. It dishes out fresh vegetables, juicy chickens and pork and native salts thereby cutting down the expenses of shipping and packaging along with a reduction in carbon and plastic wastes.

Chinese people have copied Spain’s La Tomatina festival by packing a LOT of tomatoes for people to play with.

With more stuff being absorbed by China (with all those copy-cat iPhones, Hondas, etc…), I wouldn’t be surprised if they started having Chinese Halloween anytime soon.  It’s a good thing in my mind to learn and copy other cultures, just not patents and gadgets.

Artists in New York has devised a Ice Statue of the word, “Economy”, to symbolize the American economy meltdown over the last 12 months or so.

In downtown Manhattan, two artists, Marshall Reese and Nora Ligorano sculpted the word “ECONOMY” from a block of ice to symbolize the economic downfall. The 1500 lbs. of ice was put on display in front of the Supreme Court and marked the day the stock market crashed that led to the Great Depression 79 years ago.
