Underwater River in Mexico with Sulfuric Acid!

Scientists predict that giant crack found in Ethiopia may eventually become an ocean, will it?  – link

A 35-mile rift in the desert of Ethiopia will likely become a new ocean eventually, researchers now confirm.

The crack, 20 feet wide in spots, opened in 2005 and some geologists believed then that it would spawn a new ocean. But that view was controversial, and the rift had not been well studied.

Crazy Red Crab Migration!

Check out this crazy sulfuric acid lake in Indonesia.  This guy figured he’d take a rubber boat to test the waters and indeed, the lake itself is as toxic as the sulfuric acid in your battery.

Kawah Ijen is one of the most incredible and surreal places I’ve ever visited. It’s the site of a labor intensive sulfur mining operation where miners collect and carry huge loads of pure sulfur up from the crater floor along a steep, rocky path amid clouds of sulfur dioxide gas, all for the equivalent of about ten dollars a day.

It is also home to the largest lake of sulfuric acid in the world. I wanted to explore this volcano in the most extreme manner I could think of… By taking a small boat out onto the acid lake. The ph of the lake water is 0.5, similar to the strength of car battery acid.

Orange snow spotted in Russia, could it be nuclear leftovers?

Yesterday a strange phenomena happened in Omsk region Russia.

Pretty vast territory of Omsk region was covered with a snow that had an unusual color. It was orange.

Cloud Bunny!

Here’s a great idea for a chair made out of tree trunks.

In a world filled with frenzied genetic engineering experiments and man looking to play God at every possible step of the way, I suppose it’s kinda pointless to be surprised at these astonishing square tree barks and chairs and stools that look like they were grown in somebody’s backyard rather than manufactured in a design studio.

Weird Ocean Wave Foam!

Remember the Tree Man?  Well, he’s back now to lead a more normal life after surgeries to remove most of his tree barks.  Good for him!

One of Dede’s doctors, Rachmad Dinata, said the hospital had allowed the 37-year-old man to enjoy the Islamic fasting month with his family now that 95 percent of the warts had been removed after nine operations. The fasting month begins on September 1.

‘He cannot be 100 percent cured, but his life quality has improved. If once he depended on others to do his activities, now he can eat by himself, use his hand to write, use the cell phone,’ Dinata said.

Tree Man returns to normal Life!

Wow, you gotta kill something that bad?  I’d probably take up some other sports than hunting…

Jimmy Goldman here was born without arms. This didn’t stop him from practicing his hobby, hunting. This disability improved his other motor skills, especially his legs which he uses to fish or hunt. He even won the Bass Anglers Team Challenge in Little Rock, Arkansas. It seems that there’s nothing you can’t do when you put your mind to it.
