Balloon Boy Dad Wrote Offensive (and Racist) Driving Handbook!
Balloon Boy’s dad, the mastermind behind what could have been the biggest publicity stunt ever, has written a book in 1994 called “Offensive Driving Handbook” which includes some racial-tones such as “Orientals” and “Towelheads”. We think it’s not funny, perhaps a pivotal evidence that suggests Richard Heene never had a real education.
In a chapter about the types of drivers to avoid, he refers to one group as “Jam’in Bro in His Cadillac,” another as “Towelheads” and another as “Orientals.” And the book is littered with photos with Heene dressed up as people from the various groups.
There are also photos of Heene on the toilet and one of him holding a water gun as if he were Rambo — for reasons that aren’t immediately clear.
Also Richard has a history of violent behavior in public:
Heene was duking it out with a man named Benito Ortiz in Los Angeles in April 1997 when he took his rage out on Ortiz’s 1987 Volkswagon, records released Tuesday show.
He caused thousands of dollars worth of damage – and was convicted of vandalism and disturbing the peace.
Heene was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but served just four and spent the remaining time on house arrest.
Perhaps not too serious though, I think if he could just tone his temper/lying one tone down, he could be a good person.
