How To Extract Water from MoonDust!
Scientists from NASA have figured out how to extract water from moon dust. (or moon soil, see Wikipedia here for details)
Does this mean that life can exist on Moon? Not the biggest planet that will fit enough earthlings but still great news for future space migrations.
“No magic–” says Ed Ethridge of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center “– just microwaves. We’re showing how microwaves can extract water from moondust by heating it from the inside out.”
