World’s Snail Racing Championships is probably the slowest racing championships in the world…

The 2008 world snail racing championship was held on Saturday 19th July. The 2008 world champion was a snail called Heikki who won in a time of 3 mins 2 secs. The owner was 13-year-old Georgie Brown from East Winch near King’s Lynn.
