McDonald Police Cars?
I don’t think this would ever happen in the States but apparently, people of Manila have decided to use McDonald’s oil to power police cars. A bad idea for catching bad guys in fast cars but what the heck, that’s the joy of life in Asia, there’s no police cars you can’t get away from.
Police in Manila are looking to convert their patrol cars to run on a mixture of diesel and used cooking oil from McDonald’s, officials and the company said Tuesday.via breitbart
With oil prices at crippling highs, the project would convert cars in the Makati financial district to run on a mix of 40 percent diesel and 60 percent cooking oil, its police chief Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz said.
